Built in 1882, this madrassah has become yet another workshop for busy woodcarvers. Note the protruding sticks at the front which were built to ward off the evil eye. As for its name, the word "dost" means friend, whilst "alim" refers to the flags beside the tomb of a dervish or holy man.
